MAN EATING SHARK

Launching ocean conversations since 2008.  Born from a love of the ocean and Sharks…MAN EATING SHARK began life as an idea and sketch sparked from a realisation that WE are the real MAN EATING SHARK…to near extinction.  A painting and sculpture, then later a T-shirt designed with facts on the back were created to help raise awareness about the plight of the highly evolved 400 million year old Shark species

MES the website and concept are a continuum of our efforts over the past 14 years to launch conversations with everyday people around caring for our oceans.  Wherever possible through donations of our art and quality merch we support grassroots ocean and nature conservation groups to help them continue their vital work

Man Eating Shark is proud to be a member of 1% for the Planet, a socially and environmentally progressive alliance of businesses that understand the necessity of protecting the natural environment.  We at MES are continuously striving towards having as positive as humanly possible impact on the planet Earth

GIVE SHARKS A BREAK!

Over 270,000 sharks are killed every day.
90% of the worlds sharks have been wiped out.
Say NO!  To ‘Flake’ ‘N’ Chips
Say NO! To Shark Fin Soup
Shark finning is cruel, arrogant and bad karma

MAN V SHARKS…
Humans killed by sharks per year = 12
Sharks killed by humans per year = 100,000,000

“There’s more sharks in our minds than in the water”
– Tim Winton
